Both in-ears are come from rappers and both advertise their in-ears as a pair of in-ears for HipHop genre but which one is the best choice for you ? Many may say Beats is about fashion and it comes with not so good audio quality, but in my opinion, I think it is about a sound character, I think Beats Tour is a dark tone in-ear,

with this sound style in-ears, you may not get a hi-tone with crisp as a bright tone in-ear like SOUL by Ludacris SL99, In contrast I believe many people labeled SOUL Ludacris SL99 as too bright in-ears or it comes with unbearable hi-tone. So, it is not about which one is better than other one, but it is about what type of audio character that you like.
But it is only about that, price is also other factor to defines which one to buy with the price of Beats Tour, you can buy a mid price audiophile headphones like AKG K240MKII or Marshall Major FX, but SOUL Ludacris SL99 is also not cheap either.
Sennheiser HD229 maybe a bit higher than HD 219, but I think with around 10-15 USD difference, I don’t think it is a hugh buying factor, I think what you may need to know here is while Sennheiser HD 219 aims for regular users who are looking for a headphones that very friendly for any music styles with a portable feature,

I think Sennheiser HD229 aims for teenager users, so its audio tone is quite different from HD 219, while HD 219 characterized as quite “flat” that is friendly for most users, Sennheiser HD229 offers a great bass, full mid tone for vocals, and wider soundstage. Or on the other hand, I think Sennheiser HD229 has more “musical” character, it is a headphones that comes with a unique character, some users may find it too blur or too dark for them, but for me, I think this is the reason you buy Sennheiser headphones, because you love its audio character. Personally, I preferred a tone of AKG headphones I think it is clearer, but it is depends on your preference. So, between Sennheiser HD229 vs HD 219, I think you should go with the expensive one.
Will you trade a touchscreen feature for glares ?, this is what you should be aware of when thinking about getting one of a touchscreen ebook reader. Is touchscreen feature worth it ? By far, there are around 4 major touchscreen ebook readers that are premium ereaders : Kobo Touch, Kindle Touch, Sony Reader Wi-Fi and B&N Nook Simple Touch, as well as premium ebook readers : Kindle 4, Kindle 3, Kobo Reader, and Sony Reader. the price of a touchscreen ebook reader is not so expensive than a touchscreen ebook reader, it is just more around 20-30 USD from a none touchscreen one, So I don’t think the added up cost is not a problem, but the question is should you buy a touchscreen ebook reader over a non-touch screen ereader ?
Touchscreen e-ink display technology adds a lot faster navigation with a natural gestures controlling system to your ebook reader by tap, swipe, and pinch, you can use a multi-touch gesture to zoom-in and out when watching photos, zoom in for a web browsing, an onscreen keyboard to take notes while you read, touchscreen & pop up dictionary, and highlight function. I have to say these features make ebook reading more convenient, especially for note taking, highlight, and dictionary and it is very impressive.
So, I think to decide which type of ebook ereader that you should buy, you may need to ask yourself, what is your reading habit ?, do you often make highlights while you read ? or do you often take notes while you read ?, if not, I think a simple ereader like Kindle 4 is good enough with less glare display, but if you love a touchscreen feature, perhaps, glares is what you have to trade in, or you should go with Android tablet that can be used as ereader ?
